Things have been pretty hectic around the shop lately and I hadn't realized how long it's been since I've posted. Below are some of the things I've made lately. Mostly I've been baking but I've also managed to make some cupcake toppers, finish a blanket for my daughter and make some chocolate Oreo truffles that I'm still trying to get just right.
These cookies were ordered for a Mario Bros. birthday party. Really cute "power up star."

I also did an order for a Patron bottle. These were not quite finished but I didn't get a chance to take a completed photo. The "corks" were mini vanilla wafers. These were gone in a flash!

I play Bunco with a group of ladies and September it was at my house. I thought it would be fun to make some die cookies for dessert. The ladies loved them and again they didn't last long.

Our local Stater Bros. supermarket had a car wash to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I volunteered to make these cookies for a bake sale to go along with the car wash! Everyone loved them. I want to add a note that Stater Bros. (located in Southern California) is a huge supporter of various charities especially those that deal with children. Thank you Stater Bros. for all of your generous efforts!!

I also donated cookies for another fundraiser for a family that is very dear to one of my nieces. The family has a 8 month old son who has been diagnosed with KAWASAKI Disease which I had never heard of until now. This little boy has been through so much in his short time here and his parents are struggling with medical costs. There have been various fundraisers for the family and I donated these to sell at a Community Rummage Sale for the family. I made brownies and chocolate chip cookies and attached a tag with a little heart and they said CARSON'S CAUSE. They were not only cute but so delicious.

Finally, I received an order for cupcakes for a bridal shower. The theme of the shower was pumpkins since the bride loves, loves, loves, Halloween and the wedding is in mid-October. I didn't want to do something cheesy or funky but wanted to keep in the theme of things. I wanted something that incorporated the theme but was classy for a bridal shower. These cupcakes and toppers are what I came up with. The cupcakes are Chocolate Pumpkin and the frosting is Whipped Pumpkin. I frosted them in a rosette pattern and topped them with gold pixie dust and sugar crystals.
I also made toppers for these cupcakes with the brides initial and the grooms initial and their last name initial in the center. I tried to match the colors as close as possible to coordinate with the cupcakes and I also added a pumpkin image to the center initial. I couldn't be happier with how these turned out.

Well, as you can see, it's been pretty busy around here. Now I'm off to bake, bake, bake.
Loving them all! These are undoubtedly mouth watering. Best thing about wedding venues NYC hired by my brother for his friend's bachelor party was the outskirt space. Danced a lot and buffet dinner was n sides with high rated quality drinks. Liked the flowers and lights done all over to make the venue really attractive.
